Iraq poll 'victory over violence'

Iraq has completed its electionswith a higher than expected turnout despite violence, which wasn't as bad as expected. Good, too see democracy taking root. The schedule for the creation of the new Iraqi state calls for the transition to be complete by the end of the year, which will give the UK the perfect oppatunity to leave gracefully. Iraq will be democratic (for a few years anyway), and they will be asking us to leave (this was on the manifesto of all the parties involved in these elections). The more interesting thing will be whether the US leaves as well. They may do as all the major industries have been sold off to the multinationals already.
